Abundant with corals and aquatic animals, Hua Hin offers some dive and
snorkeling sites in Koh Thalu, a small, limestone island. Beneath, it is
a home to colourful corals and diverse types of fish. The island has a
hole through the rock providing an impressive sight. The dive and snorkeling
trip can be arranged at agencies located on the mainland.
You can get close to the nature in many fun ways but one of the popular
ways is riding on an elephant’s back. Elephant had been a mode of transport
in the Kingdom for centuries. They were even used as carrier in wars.
In Hua Hin, there is an elephant camp located 3 km
west of the town centre on the road leading to Pala U.
Another one is smaller, located in Khao Takiab.
Go Kart Hua Hin
Go Kart Hua Hin is located 6 kilometres from the Hua Hin city centre. At high speeds the track is
a challenge for even the most experienced go-karters.
The 700 meter long track is twice as long as the average go kart track elsewhere. The kart and drivers are timed
with the ROC Professional Lap Timing System. When the race is over, the drivers are given printouts showing
the total time, laps, best lap, top speed and so on. The racing at Go Kart Hua Hin is as close
to F1 racing as possible without joining a professional racing circuit.
Go Kart Hua Hin is equipped with 72 floodlights around the track which make night driving a possibility.
The sun goes down early in Thailand, but the racing doesn't have to end at dusk. The 1500 watt spotlights
light up the track like a football stadium. Go Kart Hua Hin will stay open until late as long as
there are people who want to race.
